3.3.20. Intake and exhaust valves
•
Identify the marks of “IN” and “EX”
impressed on the valve head before
assembling the valve with the valve
head.
•
Using the valve stem seal fitting jig,
assemble the valve stem seal with the
valve guide.
•
After installing valve springs and
spring retainer, press the retainer with
a jig, then install cotter pin.
•
Tap the valve stem lightly with a rub-
ber hammer to check that the valve is
assembled correctly.
3.3.21. Nozzle tube
•
Apply sealant (LOCTITE # 620) to the
nozzle tube and place the O-ring over
the cylinder head fitting face on the
nozzle tube, then install the nozzle
tube in the cylinder head.
•
Install a guider of the nozzle tube
insert assembly (Guider + Expander)
on the cylinder head, then tighten the
nozzle fixing nuts.
