5.11.2 Routing Control Cables
Procedure
1.
Tie down and route all control cables down the left side of the enclosure. See illustration 31.
2. Isolate control cables from high-power cables in the drive.
3. Connect the shields in a proper way to ensure optimum electrical immunity.
4. When the drive is connected to a thermistor, ensure that the thermistor control cable is shielded and reinforced/double insulated.
A 24 V DC supply is recommended.
5. Connect the control cables to the relevant options on the control card. For more detail, see the relevant fieldbus instructions. The
fieldbus cable must be tied down and routed along with the other control cables inside the unit
