 Coercivity—Selectthecoercivitysettingthatmatchesthecardsyouareusing.Coercivity
measurestheresistanceofmagneticmaterialtotheremovalofencodeddata.High
coercivity(HICO)requiresmoreelectricalforcetoencodedataandthedataismoreresistant
tomagneticinterference.ThechoicesareHICO,LOCO,NTT1,
NTT2,NTT3.
 DataFormat(1,2,3)—Specifythenamesofthedataformatsusedfortracks1,2,and3.
Forsingletrackmagneticstripeencoding,setDataFormat1toJISandDataFormat2and
DataFormat3toNONE.
Touseacustomdataformat,definetheformatsfortracks1,2,and/or3usingthe
MagStripeCustomTrack(1,
2,3)settingsandthensetthecorrespondingDataFormatsettings
toCUSTOM.
 NoDataDisableTrack—Disablethemagneticstripewritehea dforatrackifthetrackcontains
nodata.Whenthisisdisabled,anytrackthatwasnotgivendataiserased.
 ReadT r ack(1,2,3)—Allowmagneticstripereadactionstoreadfromtr acks1,2,and3.
 SSA(1,2,3)—Adjustthestartsentinelpositionfortracks1,2,and3.(SSA3alsosetsthestart
sentinelforasingletrack.)Thestartsentinelisencodedonthemagneticstripeimmediately
beforethefirstdatacharacterandindicatesthebeginningofdata.Enteravaluefrom‐4to
