F84 – Open/close main gates
or
Tandem System
This function will open or close the main
entrance gates at the side, where the MPCII
is located. It has the same effect as the gate
button on the special MPCII. The function
can be used only on an ordinary MPCII.
"Entrance gate" button gives the same
function in system mode.
To open entrance gate after it has closed
behind a cow, press "manual control" button
and then "entrance gate" button
F85 – No more cows
Tandem System
This function is used to indicate that there
are no more cows for milking. The next call
for this function will reset it. When a call is
made from an ordinary MPCII, it will have
an effect on that side of the parlour only.
When the call is made from the special
MPCII, it will have an effect on both sides of
the parlour, both left and right sides.
If F85 ↑ is pressed on the special MPCII,
both parlour sides are blocked; no more
cows are allowed to enter either side. The
gates will close.
Adjoining display is shown on the MPCII.
If F85 ↑ is pressed on any ordinary MPCII,
only this side of the parlour is blocked.
Depending on which side of the parlour that
is blocked, one of these two displays will be
shown:
- left parlour side,
- right parlour side.
If F85 ↑ is pressed once more, the function
is reset, and cows are allowed to enter.
F86 – Exit blocked
