This function is used to temporarily block
the exit from the whole parlour. It is also
used to temporarily block both entrance,
and exit locally on a single box.
The next call for this function will reset it.
The gate button
If F86 ↑ is pressed on the special MPCII,
no exits will be allowed from any box in the
parlour; all boxes are blocked. However, it is
still possible to let a single cow out, by
pressing the gate button on the MPCII at
this box.
The special MPCII will show adjoining
display.
The ordinary MPC at the boxes will show
adjoining displays.
The next call for this function will reset it,
and it is assumed that all cows in the
parlour that have been milked, are ready to
be released (also "treat-cow" and
"low-yield-cow"), unless there is a local
blocking on any box.
If F86 ↑ is pressed on an ordinary MPCII,
the cow in this box will not automatically be
let out after she has been milked. The inlet
will also be blocked.
The next call for this function will reset it,
and it is assumed that the cow is ready to
be released, if milking has taken place.
F87 – Water test
System
Pressing F, 8, 7, and ↑ in standby mode
makes the MPCII ready for milking with
water. Used for testing accuracy of milk
meter.
- Finish by pressing F ↑.
