New features in software
The new MPCII software has new features
and F-commands. Some old F-commands
have changed activity, as described
previously in this chapter.
The MPCII software is divided into one boot
program and one active application
program. It has the possibility to store one
extra application program as back-up. The
application program is basically the active
software and can be stored in two separate
pages, or slots. An EPROM is not used in
the MPCII.
No special MPCII software is required
depending on the type of milk meter. The
calibration routine with the MM15 is also
improved and easier.
Node address and milk meter calibration is
stored after software loading from the
ALPRO processor.
Changed/new F-commands
NOTE!: If the parlour is equipped with a mix
of MPC and MPCII note their node numbers
respectively. It is important to do separate
downloading of new software and
parameter setting.
