The BOSS card is a simple RAID solution card which supports upto 2 M.2 SATA drives. The BOSS adapter card has a x8
connector using PCIe gen 2.0 x2 lanes, available only in the low-profile and half-height form factor.
Removing the M.2 BOSS module
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions on page 16.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your sled on page 17.
Steps
Holding the blue tag, lift the M.2 BOSS module away from the system.
