Next steps
1. Install the M.2 BOSS module.
2. Follow the procedure listed in the After working inside your sled.
Mezzanine card
Your system supports two mezzanine cards:
● PCIe mezzanine card slot A supports fabric A. This card must match the fabric type of I/O modules installed in I/O module
bays A1.
● PCIe mezzanine card slot B supports fabric B. This card must match the fabric type of I/O modules installed in I/O module
bays B1.
NOTE: The Mezzanine B1 card requires processor 2 to be installed.
Removing the Mezzanine card
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety Instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside the sled.
Steps
1. Use the Phillips #2 screwdriver, loosen the captive screws that secure the Mezzanine card to the system.
2. Lift the Mezzanine card out of the sled.
NOTE: To prevent damage to Mezzanine card, you must hold the card only by its edges.
