Removing The Heat Sink
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer.
2. Remove the secure digital (SD) card.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the base cover.
5. Remove the hard drive.
6. Remove the Bluetooth module.
7. Remove the speakers.
8. Remove the bottom chassis.
9. Disconnect the CPU fan cable from the system board.
10. Loosen the captive screws from the heat sink and remove the screw from
the CPU fan.
11. Remove the heat sink and the CPU fan assembly.
