Mwait setting does not impact the system power or performance.
Workload Profile This option allows the user to specify the targeted workload of a server. It allows
optimization of performance based on the workload type. This option is set to Not
Configured by default.
CPU Interconnect Bus Link
Power Management
Enables or disables the CPU Interconnect Bus Link Power Management. This option is set to
Enabled by default.
PCI ASPM L1 Link Power
Management
Enables or disables the PCI ASPM L1 Link Power Management. This option is set to
Enabled by default.
OS ACPI Cx Enables you to set the OS SCPI Cx to C2 or C3 state.
GPSS Timer Enables you to set the GPSS timer from 0 to 500us. This option is set to 500us by default.
CPU C1 Auto Demotion Enables or disables the CPU core to automatically demote to lower core idle states.
CPU C1 Auto UnDemotion Enables or disables the CPU core to automatically to undemote from demoted C1 state.
Workload Configuration Enables you to control the energy performance of bias settings to allow BIOS to choose a
configuration that improve performance on certain workload. This option is set to Balance by
default.
Dynamic L1 Enables or disables the package level settings to allow dynamic entering lower power link
state L1.
Package C States Enables or disables the package to transition to deeper C-stats or limit to operational state.

Enables or disables the Package C State Latency Negotiation option when Package C States
is enabled.
Power and System Criteria

Enables you to set the power and system criteria for Package C States.

CPU AES-NI Improves the speed of applications by performing encryption and decryption by using
the Advanced Encryption Standard Instruction Set (AES-NI). This option is set to
Enabled by default.
System Password Sets the system password. This option is read-only if the password jumper is not
installed in the system.
Setup Password Sets the setup password. This option is read-only if the password jumper is not installed
in the system.
Password Status Locks the system password. This option is set to Unlocked by default.
TPM Information Indicates the type of Trusted Platform Module, if present.
