You do not have to deploy high-pass filters if a satellite-fed antenna
network is installed in the building.
Important! Physical segmen
tation using high-pass filters must always be
accompanied by logical segmentation using password groups! For a logical
segmentation, all the dLAN 200 AVpro adapters in Segment 1 shown in
Fig. 3-17 must have a password that is different to that of Segment 2. The
respective master here has the corresponding password for the segment
(for more information, refer to Section 3.5.7).
3.5.7 Logical segmentation
For a log
ical segmentation, all devolo dLAN 200 AVpro adaptors in Segment 1
shown in Fig. 3-18 must be furnished with a dLAN password that deviates from
Segment 2 or Segment 3. The respective feeder has the dLAN password assigned to
the segment here.
