5.6 Segment insulation with EMI filters for repeater circuits
EMI filters can be used to isolate segments on the power line. However, you should
note that a possible coupling on parallel lines will render any segmentation
ineffective. Therefore, segmentation should always be take place on a single existing
line.

5.7 Phase coupling and residual current devices
Phase coupler
In rare cases where the crosstalk between the 3 phases is insufficient, or residual
current devices are installed on the data transport path on the power line, it may be
necessary to use different types of phase couplers. You should note that a phase
coupler also transfer interference from one phase to the others. The phase coupler
does not distinguish between "good" and "bad" signals. For this reason, phase
couplers should always be used with caution — if interference is coupled, the dLAN
signal may be attenuated and the usable bandwidth decreased. In this case, using a
phase coupler is even counterproductive!
