During a TCP test, you can read off the current results on both the server
and the client. After the test, the server also sends a summary to the client.
During a UDP test, you can only read off the current results on the server.
The server does not send a summary to the client until after the test. During
the test, only the requested bandwidth is shown on the client.
7.1.4 Setting up the client
For TC
P, you can access the client as follows (recommended values for maximum
performance):
Legend:
- c 192.168.0.16: client mode and IP address of the server
- w 128k: TCP window size (optimum size for dLAN 200 AVpro)
- i 1: reporting interval each second
- t 600: length of the test 600 seconds
For UDP, you can access the client as follows (recommended values for maximum
performance):
Legend:
- c 192.168.0.16: client mode and IP address of the server
- u: UDP mode
