The devolo dLAN system always has an automatic phase-coupling effect
without
using an additional phase coupler!

Residual current device
Note that a variety of different types of residual current devices exist. The majority of
residual current devices do NOT cause interference to a dLAN system!
Important: always test the dLAN system for correct functioning on-site
before
making changes to the electrical system!

5.8 Sources of interference and remedies on the power line
In case of unsatisfactory transfer rates on power line connections, causes may
include cables that are too long, poor phase coupling and residual current devices;
additionally, constant sources of RF interference sometimes exist on the line. These
sources of interference can cause minor to total obstruction of the data throughput.
Possible sources of interference include all consumers connected to the power supply
system that couple an RF signal onto the power supply system over their power
supply unit. These could include:
Power packs on laptops, printers, etc.
Cordless phones (DECT and CT1+)
Electric motors on hair dryers, power drills, etc.
Frequency converters on industrial machines
Electronic switching appliances for halogen lamps and discharge lamps
