Adverse events
No serious adverse events (AEs) or device-related serious adverse events occurred
during the studies. There were a total of 46 mild to moderate AEs which occurred
during the study. Of these, 17 were mild to moderate and related to the device.
Thirteen AEs were due to pain or discomfort and 4 AEs were due to skin irritation, such
as erythema (redness), edema (swelling), or skin tearing at the sensor needle insertion
area or around the adhesive area.
