One Seg Service
Use One Seg service for mobiles (only in Japan).
Troubleshooting
Q. One Seg service does not activate.
A. Does not activate when the battery level is low.
Activate after handset is charged sufficiently.
A. Does not activate when the internal temperature is
high. Shuts down automatically if handset is used with
internal temperature high.
Q. Cannot use One Seg service.
A. Check the reception. Cannot use One Seg service
if signal reception is poor. Move to where signal
reception is good.
Precautions for Using One Seg Service
Viewing Environments
Viewing may not be possible where signal reception is poor,
such as indoors, underground, and in tunnels. Viewing may
be interrupted when moving to where signal reception is
poor.
Signal reception depends on where handset is used; viewing
may not be possible in some regions.
Use where good reception is available.
Using while Outside Japan
One Seg service is not available outside in Japan due to
difference in broadcasting format or frequencies.
Channel Settings
If frequency of broadcasting station has been changed,
channels may not be saved correctly by area selection
depending on your area. In this case, set channel list again.
Do Not Use while Driving or Walking
Do not use One Seg service while riding a bicycle or motor
cycle, driving a car, or while walking.
Antenna for One Seg Service
Handset has a built-in Antenna for One Seg service. To use
One seg service, open and orient handset in direction with
best reception while checking with the onscreen Antenna
Indicator.
・Reception is more favorable as more bars appear in the
Antenna Indicator.
Widescreen
One Seg service is available in widescreen.
Note that screen layout changes in widescreen.
Setting Channels
Window for creating channel list opens.
・If confirmation appears, follow onscreen prompts.
Select area (Area) Select area (Prefecture)
Select area (Locality)
Channel scan starts. When completed, confirmation
appears.
Channels are set.
