3. Starting the engine
The machine must be started from the intended operating position.
The operation is only possibly from the same location where the machine was started.
The machine can only be stopped in the same location where it was started.
Combustion engine
Starting the combustion engine from the platform.
1. Turn the switch key to position "1".
2. Depress the pedal switch > the device will be energized.
3. Turn the switch key to position "GLOWING".
3.1. The yellow signal-light for glowing illuminates.
3.2. Keep the glowing switched on for about 10 seconds.
4. Start the engine by turning the switch key to position "START".
Starting the combustion engine from the chassis control panel.
1. Turn the switch key to position "1".
2. Activate any movement > the device will be energized.
3. Turn the switch key to position "GLOWING".
3.1. The yellow signal-light for glowing illuminates.
3.2. Keep the glowing switched on for about 10 seconds.
4. Start the engine by turning the switch key to position "START".
Electric motor
Connect the plug to the power supply.
Starting the electric motor from the platform.
1. Turn the switch key to position "1".
2. Depress the pedal switch > the device will be energized.
3. The electric motor starts automatically once any of the movements is activated.
Starting the electric motor from the chassis control panel.
1. Turn the switch key to position "1".
2. Activate any movement > the device will be energized.
3. The electric motor starts automatically once any of the movements is activated.
Note! Operation powered by the electric motor is not possible until the combustion engine is
switched off.
If you wish to use the combustion engine after the electric motor was used, start the
combustion engine in the normal way (the power supply plug needs not be
disconnected).
Note! The electric motor cannot be used during driving.
4. Switching off the engine
Combustion engine
1.
Wait until the engine speed has dropped to idling speed.
2. Switch off the engine by turning the key switch key to position "0".
3. The engine will stop and at the same time the power supply to the lift will be switched off.
