6. Operating the lift powered by the combustion engine
Operation of the support outriggers
The support outriggers may only be operated, while the boom is resting on the support and the telescope
is fully retracted.
The support outriggers are operated using dedicated lever switches for each outrigger.
1. Depress the pedal switch (none of the movements may be activated).
2. Turn the appropriate lever switch to the desired direction of movement of the outrigger.
(All outriggers can be operated at the same time, if so desired).
3. Level the lift using the support outriggers.
3.1. The electronic display with columns indicates when the horizontal position is reached.
3.2. The operation of the display is the following.
3.2.1. The large illuminated column indicates that the chassis lies higher on that side than on
the opposite side.
3.2.2. When the light is on only in the centre, the chassis is at level position..
4. The green signal light amid the operating levers for the outriggers will illuminate as soon as
sufficient force is exerted on all outriggers.
Note! Illumination of the green signal light does not necessarily mean that the lift is on a level.
Automatic levelling (optional)
1. Depress the pedal switch (none of the movements may be activated).
2. Press button 1 on the left control lever to bring the lift to a level position.
3. Always verify the level position of the lift as instructed in the chapter above.
Readjust manually, as necessary.
4. Press button 2 on the left control lever to raise the outriggers to the transport position.
Operating the lift from the platform
The operation of the boom is only possible if the outriggers are well supported on the ground.
If the pedal is kept depressed for more than 10 seconds, and none of the movements is activated during
this time > the pedal must be released and re-activated.
1. Depress the pedal switch (none of the movements may be activated).
2. Activate the desired movement using the control lever.
3. The engine revolutions increase (or the electric motors starts).
4. The selected movement will move at the speed adjusted with the position of the lever (the travelling
speed is adjusted steplessly in accordance with the position of the control lever).
