10.1.4 Seat numbering
Conferenceunitsareidentifiedbymeansofaseatnumbers.Eachconferenceunitisassignedaseatnumber.Thisis
doneautomaticallyforallconferenceunits,whentheyareconnectedtotheCU5905.TheCU5905WEBinterfaceis
usedtochangeseatnumbering.
Seatnumbersmustbeintherangefrom1to65535.
10.1.5 CU 5905 reply to commands
Generally,acommandfromexternalapplicationisrepliedtobytheCU.But,replytoacommandisproducedonlyif
actionsaretakenbytheCUduetothecommand.
Example:Whena‘mic_on’commandresults in a microphone being turned on,theCUreplieswitha‘mic_on’
command.Ontheotherhand,ifa'mic_on'commanddoesnotleadtoturningonamicrophone,theCUdoesnot
produceanyreply.
TherecanbeseveralreasonsfortheCUtorejectturningonamicrophone:
‐Themicrophoneisalreadyturnedon
‐Themicrophoneisnolongerconnectedtothesystem.
‐Speaklistisalreadyfull(‘max_speakers’),anddelegateinterruptisnot‘on’.
10.1.6 Retrieving system status
TheCUsupportsstreamingofstatus.Whenanexternalcontrolapplication issuesa ‘mic_status’or ‘audio_status’
command,theCUrespondsbysendingthemicrophonesystemstatus.Thesamegoesfor‘audiostatus’.Hereby,itis
possibleforanexternalcontrolapplicationtosynchronizewiththeCUstatus.
