Checking Calibration of the Dräger Mainstream CO
2 Sensor with Test Filter
 Perform the calibration check of the Dräger mainstream CO
2 sensor with test filter at intervals of one
month.
Before the check
Prerequisite: The monitor is switched on and at least the warm-up phase for the CO
2 sensor has elapsed.
 Perform CO2 Zero in ambient air.
Starting the Calibration Check of the Dräger Mainstream CO
2 Sensor with Test Filter
1 Remove the sensor from the cuvette and connect it to the test filter on the sensor cable.
2 Access the etCO2 parameter menu.
3 Select Calibration Check.
The monitor starts the check and displays the progress and result of the check in the message area.
If the check was successful
The monitor displays the message, Filter Check Successful. The test value is within the permissible
tolerance.
 Fit the Dräger mainstream CO
2 sensor back on the cuvette.
If the check was not successful
The monitor displays the message, Filter Check Failed. The test value is outside the permissible
tolerance.
