4 Getting Started
4.1 The Entry Control Board Power Supply
The battery compartment at the rear of the Entry Control Board provides space for two 7.2 V rechargeable nickel hydride (NiMH)
batteries each running in parallel and providing 3.8 Ah of power. Continuous operating time is a minimum of 8 hours between
recharge.
If necessary the Entry Control Board can be operated with the charging connector in place and connected to an independent
power source.
