Control Board. The unit is programmed with an equipment owner identification number (Brigade ID) and a electronic monitoring system
identification number.
Power is supplied by a rechargeable battery pack that replaces the existing battery pack in the backplate of the breathing
apparatus. An in-cab charger and a 4-way charger are available for battery pack charging (contact Dräger for details).
B.1 Tally
Supplied with each modem is a matching tally that is encoded with the same identification numbers as the modem. A label on
the tally shows the brigade name, the electronic monitoring unit identification number and three headings that allow the following
information to be added using a suitable waterproof marker:
The name of the wearer.
The cylinder pressure on activation of the Bodyguard
®
.
The actual entry time into the risk area (using the clock of the Entry Control Board).
Where a radiation risk may be present, a dosimeter reading can be recorded on the reverse side of the tally (prior to entry and
after exit).
The tally can be assembled on to the key ring of the activation tally of the associated Bodyguard
