DTC
The instrument panel displays DTC status as follows:
- if the DTC is active, the message “DTC” and the
set intervention level number “1” to “8”;
- if DTC is active, but system is in degraded
operation, “DTC” indication and the intervention
level number, “1” to “8” (flashing); also the DTC
(warning light 8, Fig 9) flashing;
- if there is a fault in the system, the “DTC”
will flash and the intervention level
number, “1” to “8” will be steady;
- when in fault, the “DTC” indication, the flashing
"Err" the DTC (warning light 8, Fig 9)
turns steady on;
- if DTC is disabled, “DTC” “OFF” indication.
In case of system malfunction, contact a Ducati
Dealer or Authorised Service Centre.
DTC is a rider aid that can be used on the track,
on the road and road. The system is designed to
make riding easier and to enhance safety, but in no
way relieves the rider of the obligation to drive
responsibly and to maintain a high standard of riding
in order to avoid accidents, whether caused by his
own errors or those of other road users, through
making emergency manoeuvres, in accordance with
the prescriptions of the road code.
