6.5.c - SPURGO ACQUA CIRCUITO ALIMENTAZIONE
GASOLIO
In caso di presenza di acqua all’interno del pre-fi ltro gaso-
lio, procedere come segue:
ATTENZIONE:
Lasciare raffreddare il motore per evitare rischi di scot-
tature.
- Aprire il portello laterale destro.
- Premere la molla di aggancio (1) del connettore (2) e
contemporaneamente sfi lare quest’ultimo dalla sua
sede.
- Svitare il sensore (3) fi no a quando dallo spurgo non
fuoriesce l’acqua presente all’interno del pre-fi ltro; nel
momento in cui inizia ad uscire solamente gasolio, riav-
vitare il sensore (3) e ricollegare il connettore (2).
- Asciugare i residui di carburante prima di riaccendere il
motore.
ATTENZIONE:
Fare attenzione a che non fuoriesca tutto il carburante
contenuto nel fi ltro.
In tale caso, procedere alla sua rimozione (vedere pa-
ragrafo 6.4), effettuare manualmente il riempimento e
ripetere l’operazione di spurgo.
ATTENZIONE:
In ambienti freddi, quando esiste la possibilità che l’ac-
qua condensata all’interno del fi ltro possa ghiacciare,
drenare il fi ltro alla fi ne della giornata lavorativa.
DA RICORDARE:
Oltre all’operazione di drenaggio acqua dal fi ltro ga-
solio, è consigliato anche far vuotare il serbatoio car-
burante, presso un Centro Assistenza, in modo da
eliminare completamente tracce d’acqua ed impurità
contenute al suo interno.

6.5.c - WATER DRAINING IN GASOIL SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Should there be water inside the gas oil pre-fi lter, proceed
as follows:
CAUTION:
Let the engine cool down in order to avoid any risk of
scalding.
- Open the right side hatch.
- Push the hooking spring (1) of the connector (2) and
meanwhile extract this connector from its seat.
- Release the sensor (3) until the water inside the pre-
fi lter pours out of the drain; once only gas oil pours out,
screw the sensor (3) again and connect the connector
(2).
- Dry the remaining fuel before starting the engine again.
CAUTION:
Make sure not all the fuel in the fi lter comes out of the
fi lter itself.
However, if this is the case, remove the fi lter (see pa-
ragraph 6.4), manually fi ll it again and repeat the brea-
thing operation.
CAUTION:
In cold surroundings and whenever the condensate
water inside the fi lter may freeze, drain the fi lter at the
end of every work day.
REMEMBER:
Besides draining the water form the gasoil fi lter, we
also recommend to ask an Assistance Service Center
to empty the fuel tank so as to completely eliminate
any trace of water and impurities in the tank itself.
