7-9. Stripping occurs on the surface of a booklet
7-9-1. Adjusting the fold ejection roller gap adjustment lever
Adjust the position of the fold ejection roller gap adjustment lever. Set the lever to the same position on
either side. If the position is not the same, a folding misalignment may occur.
Standard position: right viewing from the operator’s side

Loosen the fold ejection roller gap knob
screw.

Move the lever to the left.
Move the lever to the left until it stops.

Tighten the fold ejection roller gap
knob screw.
7-9-2. Adjusting the press roller gap
When stripping occurs on the surface of a booklet, narrow the press roller gap. Set the lever to the same
position on either side. If the position is not the same, a folding misalignment may occur.
Standard position: [a]

Remove the pressure adjustment lever
from the pin.

Loosen the press roller gap fixing lever.

Move the press roller gap adjustment
lever to either [b] or [c].

Tighten the press roller gap fixing lever.

Attach the pressure adjustment lever to
the pin.
