Chapter 2 INTRODUCTION

Eaton 93PR 60-1200 kW UPS series uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is a true online, continuous-duty,

transformerless, double-conversion, three-phase modular system that supplies conditioned and uninterruptible

AC power to critical load and protects it from power failures.

Eaton 93PR 60-1200 kW UPS has exible power scalability from

60 kW to 4.8MV, hot swappable modular and

standard design, high exibility and applicability, market leading e󰀩ciency, availability and performance, very

suitable to applications of multi tenant data center (MTDC), small-middle-large data center, automation, medical

etc. to protect power and customized power system solution.

Each UPS cabinet provides a system static bypass. The output power depends on the number of power modules

(UPM) installed inside, but cannot exceed the maximum power limit of the system static bypass.

The power rating of a single UPS is determined by the number of UPM, but the maximum power could not exceed the static

bypass rating.

A UPM includes a rectier, inverter, battery converter, and independent controls. The UPM is hot swappable (Hot

Swap), Each UPM is able to operate independently from the other power modules.

Startup and operational checks must be performed by an authorized Eaton Customer Service Engineer,

or the warranty terms specied in

Chapter 9

become void. This service is o󰀨ered as part of the sales

contract for the UPS. Contact service in advance (usually a two-week notice is required) to reserve a

preferred startup date.
