This card provides two types of interface through one DB9 port. In dry node mode, the UPS information is
transferred to the alarm system, PLC, or computer system simply through the contact of the dry node
relay. The information sent under standard settings include normal operation signal, bypass mode signal,
battery mode signal, AC mains mode signal, and low battery signal. In RS232 mode, a RS232 interface
connecting to the personal computer or UPS control display is provided. A jumper is used to select the
interface (dry contact or RS232).

Intelligent Power Manager (IPM) is a specialized software for UPS power management. It is a monitoring
system that can concentrate the data and alarms of multiple UPS systems, including UPS systems of
other brands, intelligent power distribution systems (ePDUs), and other power and environment devices
into a single view. The software is web-based, which means that the information can be accessed through
any device that has a web browser. Intelligent Power Manager supports virtual environments.

This feature lets you to connect signal inputs, such as smoke detectors or over-temperature alarms, to the
UPS. The user interface terminals for external connections are inside the UPS. Use twisted-pair cables for
the connections.
The signal input can be programmed to display the alarm functional name.
CAUTION
Do not operate the contact at any voltage above 30 VAC (RMS) or 30 VDC, or
at any current above 5 A.

The outputs of multiple 93T UPS systems can be connected in parallel. The outputs are paralleled to
increase the load capacity of the power system and for redundancy. If one UPS fails or is out of service
