A UPS emergency power-off is initiated by the Remote Emergency Power-off (REPO) push-button. In
case of an emergency, use this push-button to control the UPS output.
The REPO push-button powers down the UPS and cuts off the output immediately without asking for
verification.
CAUTION
When the REPO push-button is activated, the UPS output is cut off immediately.
Use this feature only in case of emergency.
NOTE: The following instructions are for the REPO push-button supplied by Eaton. If you are using a
customer-supplied REPO push-button, it may not activate in the same way. For operating instructions,
refer to the documentation provided with the push button.
To use the REPO push-button:
1. Press the REPO push-button.
If verification is not requested, the contactors of the input, output, and bypass are disconnected,
and the battery and the power module are turned off immediately.
CAUTION
Do not restart the system after using the REPO push-button until the conditions
for safe start-up have been confirmed.
2. To restart the UPS after using the REPO push button, reset the REPO push button first. Then, obey
the instructions in Section
6.3.1 Start the UPS in Online mode (default mode) or Section 6.3.2 Start the
UPS in Bypass mode.

Only trained personnel who are familiar with the behavior and functions of the UPS are allowed to operate
the internal MBS. The full UPS wiring diagram with the MBS switch is presented in Figure
6: 93T UPS
wiring diagram.
CAUTION
The internal MBS and the static bypass must be supplied by the same source.
