5.6.2 Multi-function relay AUX
Configuration
In addition to the prioritised Alarm relays PRIO1 / PRIO2 ones, the controller also has the changeover contact
AUX (terminals 15/16/18, see chapter Terminal assignment of the 230 V AC relay outputs).
The relay output can be configured via Menu 4-1-7 (Other) with any of the following parameters for these
functionalities:
Parameter Function
Horn For the connection of an external audible alarm transmitter (factory setting). The contact
always switches if the internal buzzer of the controller also sounds (buzzer signals an
alarm). If the internal buzzer falls silent, the contact also switches to the idle state; see
also chapter Alarms and messages.
AUX relay Prio X3..X9 The multifunctional AUX relay has the same functionality as the two alarm outputs
PRIO1 / PRIO2 in chapter Alarm relays PRIO1 / PRIO2, except that any desired message
prioritybetweenX3,X4,…orX9canbeassignedtoit.IfanalarmwiththepriorityX3,X4,
…orX9isreceivedfromanE*LDScomponent,theAUXrelayoutputisonlyactivatedif
the message priority corresponds with that configured here; see also chapter Alarms and
messages.
