10 Maintenance
10.1 Transmitter
The Rosemount 1056 Transmitter used with the TCL requires little maintenance.
Clean the transmitter case and front panel by wiping with a clean soft cloth dampened
with water only. Do not use solvents, like alcohol, that might cause a buildup of static
charge.
The chlorine sensor circuit board (PN 24203-01) is replaceable. If you have a dual input
transmitter, consult the Rosemount 1056 Instruction Manual for the part number of the
other board.
To replace the board:
Procedure
1. Turn off power to the transmitter.
2. Loosen the four screws holding the front panel in place and let the front panel drop
down.
3. Loosen the gland fitting and carefully push the sensor cable up through the fitting as
you pull out the circuit board.
4. Once you have access to the terminal strip, disconnect the sensor.
5. Unplug the sensor board from the main board.
