Note!
You may have to change or correct certain settings of the function matrix in order to rectify faults. For an explanation of
the functions listed below, e.g. DISPLAY DAMPING, see ä 65 ff.
Negative flow values displayed even
though the fluid is flowing forwards in
the pipe.
1. Check the wiring ä 31.
If necessary, switch the connections for the terminals for "up" and "down".
2. Change the "INSTL. DIR. SENSOR" function accordingly.
Measured value reading fluctuates even
though flow is steady.
1. Check the fluid for presence of gas bubbles.
2. "TIME CONSTANT" function (current output) Increase value
3. "DISPLAY DAMPING" function Increase value
The measured value display or
measured value output is pulsating or
fluctuating, e.g. due to reciprocating
pumps, peristaltic pumps, diaphragm
pumps or pumps with similar
transporting characteristics.
Run the "Pulsating Flow" Quick Setup ä 71.
If these measures do not rectify the problem, a pulsation damper has to be
installed between the pump and the flowmeter.
Measured value reading shown on
display, even though the fluid is at a
standstill and the measuring tube is full.
1. Check the fluid for presence of gas bubbles.
2. Activate the "LOW FLOW CUTOFF" function, i.e. enter or increase the
value for the switch point.
