Proline Prosonic Flow 93T Portable Description of Device Functions
Endress+Hauser 89
VALUE 0_4 mA
(4002)
Use this function to assign the 0/4 mA current a value. The value can be greater or less
than the value assigned to 20 mA (function VALUE 20 mA (4003)). Positive and
egative values are permissible, depending on the measured variable in question (e.g.
CH1 volume flow).
Example:
4 mA assigned value = – 250 l/h
20 mA assigned value = +750 l/h
Calculated current value = 8 mA (at zero flow)
!
Note!
Values with different signs cannot be entered for 0/4 mA and 20 mA (function
4003) if SYMMETRY is the setting selected for the MEASURING MODE function
(4004). In this case the message "INPUT RANGE EXCEEDED" appears on the display.
Example for STANDARD measuring mode:
A0001223
m = Initial value (0...20 mA)
n
= Lower signal on alarm level:: depends on the setting in the function CURRENT SPAN
o
= Initial value (4...20 mA): depends on the setting in the function CURRENT SPAN
p
= Full scale value (0/4...20 mA): depends on the setting in the function CURRENT SPAN
q
= Maximum current value: depends on the setting in the function CURRENT SPAN
r = mode (upper signal on alarm level): depends on the setting in the functions
CURRENT SPAN ä 100 and FAILSAFE MODE, ä 115
A = Measuring range (the minimum measuring range has to exceed the value that
correlates with a flow velocity of 0.3 m/s).
User input:
5-digit floating-point number, with sign
Factory setting:
0 [unit]
!
Note!
The appropriate unit is taken from the function UNIT VOLUME FLOW (0042)
ä 69.
For details on current span, operational range and signal on alarm level ä 100.
"
Caution!
The current output responds differently, depending on the parameters set in the
various functions. Some examples of parameter settings and their effect on the current
output are given in the following section.
