Status light Status and solution
Blue Normal operation
Flashing blue The projector is warming up or updating the firmware. The remote
control may not function if the status indicator is flashing blue.
Off The projector is in standby or sleep mode. When you press the power
button on the projector or remote, projection begins.
Orange Projector is too hot and has turned off.
• Let the projector cool down for at least five minutes
• Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with dust or
obstructed by nearby objects.
• Clean or replace the air filter.
• Make sure the environmental temperature is not too hot.
• If the problem persists, unplug the projector and contact Epson for
help.
Flashing orange An internal projector error has occurred.
Turn the projector off, unplug it, and contact Epson for help.
Note: If the light displays a pattern not listed in the tables above, turn the projector off, unplug it, and
contact Epson for help.

Solving Projector Power Problems
If the projector does not turn on when you press the power button, try the following steps until the
problem is solved.
1. Make sure the power cord is securely connected to the projector and to a working electrical outlet.
2. If you are using the remote control, check the batteries of the remote control.
3. The projector may have entered into Bluetooth Speaker Mode. Hold the esc button on the remote
control for two seconds.
