Notes When Moving or
Transporting the Printer
Perform the following operations when moving or
transporting the printer.
As shown below, always lift the printer by placing
your hands in the indentations on the left and right
sides.

Important:
Only hold the required area; otherwise, the
printer may be damaged.
Move and transport the printer with ink
cartridges installed. Do not remove the ink
cartridges; otherwise, the nozzles may be
clogged and make it impossible to print, or ink
may leak.
Before Moving or Transporting
Make the following preparations in advance before
moving or transporting the printer.
Turn off the printer and remove all cables.
Remove any paper.
Remove any optional components if they are
installed.
Notes on Transporting
When transporting the printer, repack it using the
original box and packing materials to protect it from
shock and vibration.
After Moving or Transporting
After moving or transporting, check if the print head
is clogged before use.
