Cleaning the Encoder Strip (Carriage Scale) and Replacing the Air Filter
You see a message on the LCD screen when it is time to clean the encoder strip (carriage scale) and
replace the air filter.
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Open the printer cover.
3. Let the ink cleaning solution soak into the cleaning cloth supplied with the new air filter.
