4. Press the up or down arrow button to move through the settings. If there are additional settings,
press the right or left arrow button as instructed on the LCD screen.
5. Press the OK button on the control panel when OK is displayed on the LCD screen.
6. When you finish changing settings, press the left arrow button as necessary to return to the main
screen.

Maintenance Menu Settings
Settings on the Maintenance menu let you run essential printer maintenance utilities.
Caution: Follow the instructions in the topic links below the table to use these menu settings correctly.

Nozzle Check — Select to run the nozzle check utility
and inspect the printed pattern to
determine if you need to clean the print
head
Head Cleaning Selected Nozzles
All Nozzles
Preventive Cleaning
Select Selected Nozzles to clean
specific nozzles indicated on the
nozzle check print pattern.
Select All Nozzles to clean all nozzles.
Then choose one of the following
cleaning levels:
• Execute (Light): run this level of
cleaning first
• Execute (Medium): run this level of
cleaning if the light level left faint or
missing ink in your printouts
• Execute (Heavy): run this level of
cleaning if the light and medium
levels still left faint or missing ink in
your printouts
