1. Load paper of the same type and width into Roll 1 and Roll 2.
2. Select > General Settings > Printer Settings > Paper Source Settings > Roll Paper Setup >
Roll Switching > Auto > Paper Length from the printer’s control panel.
3. Select Remaining Amount Priority.
Note: To prevent the roll paper from being switched during printing, select Data Length Priority,
and select the remaining roll paper management settings before printing. Select Disable to print
regardless of the amount of paper remaining.
4. Choose from the following:
• Windows: Display the printer driver's Printer Settings screen, and then select Roll Auto as the
Source setting.
