Installing the Battery
The printer does not operate without a charged battery installed.
Follow the steps below to install the battery.

Make sure that the printer is turned off.

Open the battery cover.
WARNING
Be sure to use the battery OT-BY60II.
Using a battery other than the one specified may cause fire, explosion, leakage,
overheating or other damage.
When removing or installing the battery, be sure to turn off the power before doing so.
Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
When the Battery cover will not open, move the notch in the direction of the arrow by using
a tool such as a ballpoint pen.
