Installing the Optional Units 49
INSTALLING THE STAPLE CARTRIDGE (FINISHER UNIT)
1. Attach the Staple Cartridge to the Staple Unit.
After you install the Staple Cartridge, you must change the staple paper size setting.
2. On the printer, enter Service Support Mode (see
Page 57) and follow steps 1 to 4.
3. Select and enter the Installation Menu.
4. Select and enter Finisher Unit > Manual Staple Paper Size Setting.
5. Select ON for Letter Size.
6. Press BACK to return to the previous menus.
7. Press the Power Button to turn the printer off, then turn it back on again to activate
the setting.
