6.1.1 Data Commu nication Network
The MINI-LINK E network can be divided into three networ ks: the traffic
network, the Data Communication Network (DCN) and the service channel
network. The DCN is the network that provides connection between
Management Systems and MINI-LINK terminals.
The teminals can be connected t o each other and thereby forming a
sub-network. The DCN normally consists of a number of sub-networks.
Sub-networks are isolated from each other and are each assigned to a specific
Netman Server.
The management traffic consists of configuration, status information and error
messages.
For more infor mation on DCN, see Netman Technical Description (AE/LZT
110 5048).
