Battery Capacity (AC supply to the RCB)
The three battery packs (NiCd) have capacity to supply DC voltage within its
specified values at nominal load for more than 3 minutes (typically 10 minutes).
The batter ies are restored to full capacity within 6 hours of AC mains supply
and temperatures above 0
C (for temperatures below, maximum 24 hours). A
typical value for the batter y lifetime is 3 – 5 years, implying the batteries should
be replaced within this period.
