7.3 DDU DC Distr ibution Unit
The DC Distribution Unit (DDU) is used to distribute power supply to up to five
indoor units, such as M MUs and fan units.

The DDU is connected to the primary power supply with a shielded battery
cable. The primary power supply should have a fuse to protect the DDU and
the battery cable. Each output is protected by an automatic type fuse (6 A)
combined with an ON/OFF switch.
There are two versions of the D DU available:
Negative earth
For +24 V DC. The positive pole is connected to the
DDU and the negative pole is connected to ground.
Positive earth
For –48 V DC. The negative pole is connected to the
DDU and the positive pole is connected to ground.
