Fire Alarm Computer 8000C
1. When connecting the mains and signal cables, ensure that the base plate remains free all
round and that the housing frame can be placed onto the base plate.

Risk of short circuit
All voltage and signal lines connected to the basic module must
be secured to prevent slipping by using a suitable attachment materials such as plastic
cable binders. Work on the fire alarm central unit 8000C may only be carried out when it is
deenergized (mains and emergency power supply).
10. Insert the rechargeable battery (batteries) into the battery compartment and secure the battery
fastener by screwing in the two screws. The mechanical battery fastener (plastic part) is
enclosed in the central unit’s additional pack.

11. Carefully place the housing frame onto the base plate.
When doing so, ensure that no connecting cables are trapped between the base plate and the
housing frame and that the insulation of the cables is not damaged.
12. Screw the four connecting screws between the base plate and the housing frame back into the
fasteners (housing corners).
