Solving Common Problems
An APC fiber is
connected to an
FIP-415B or FIP-435B
probe, the blue LED is
blinking and the motor is
not running.
Try to put the fiber back in place.
Refresh rate is very low.
Ensure that the power saving mode is deactivated.
On your smart device, close the applications that are not
in use.
Reduce the number of probes operating in the vicinity.
Bring the probe and the smart device closer together.
The FIP status LED blinks
red for 2 seconds in live
video mode and turns
from unlit to blue (auto
focus timeout).
Try to put the fiber back in place.
The FIP status LED blinks
red for 2 seconds when a
capture is performed
and no analysis results
are available.
There was an analysis error. Repeat the inspection process.
The user interface
displayed in the
application is truncated.
Change font size in the smart device settings to facilitate
reading comprehension.
The list of available FIPs
is empty.
Ensure that the Wi-Fi is on.
Ensure that the probe is on.
Ensure that the location setting of your smart device is
activated.
