Solving Common Problems
A message box indicates
that you need to perform
a required firmware
update.
Contact EXFO for technical support.
The wireless probe is
properly connected in
the Wi-Fi settings but it is
impossible to connect to
the probe in the
ConnectorMax2 Mobile
application with an
Android smart device.
Ensure that your Android smart device is not configured
to connect automatically to a mobile data network. (You
can consult the documentation that came with your
Android smart device to configure the settings properly.)
Contact EXFO for technical support if the problem still
persists.
The status LED blinks
magenta at startup.
The probe is in standalone mode. From ConnectorMax2
Mobile, connect to the probe to return to standard mode.
The capture button is not
available.
Ensure that the type of connector selected matches the
type of connector connected to the probe.
Ensure that the focus value is sufficient to perform the
analysis. Use the focus knob on the probe until the focus
indicator displays the best value available. Yellow
indicates an acceptable range, and green shows the
preferred range.
