One or more configuration lists have been
created in the PLC or in the INTERBUS module
for logical addressing. These lists contain at
least the following entries:
–
the ID codes of all slaves
–
the logical addresses of all slaves
–
the number of inputs
–
the number of outputs
These specifications must be known or ascer-
tained for each bus slave. In order to do this,
proceed in the case of the valve terminals as
follows:
• Calculate the number of I/Os per valve
terminal (see Chapter 2.1, "Calculating the
number of I/Os).
• Take into account the four status bits in the
case of valve terminals with inputs.
• Ascertain the Ident code and the number of
bits of the process data channel in accord-
ance with the following table.
• Assign logical IN and OUT addresses to each
slave.
