4.2.6 Other instructions
Preprocessing
Under preprocessing on the INTERBUS we
understand the logical linking of the processing
data within the INTERBUS module (previously
called "Event programming" or "Receive bit
manipulation").
PLEASE NOTE
All the inputs/outputs of a valve terminal can
be preprocessed.
Periphery faults (PF)
If a fault is recognized by the valve terminal and
entered in the status bits, a periphery fault will
also be triggered, transmitted to the module and
displayed there.
The causes of periphery faults may be:
1. Voltage for valves and electrical outputs
below the tolerance (21.6V).
2. Voltage for valves and electrical outputs
switched off (e.g. EMERGENCY STOP).
3. Power supply to inputs/sensors switched off
(e.g. internal fuse triggered)
4. Short circuit or overload at digital outputs.
