System structure on the
installation remote bus
The valve terminal type 03/05 is a 2-wire slave
on the installation remote bus.
Connection to the installation remote bus can be
made as follows (see fold-out page):
Connection e.g. to bus module IBS IP CBK
1/24-F with a hybrid cable (LICYC 3x2x0.25
mm
2
+ 3x1 mm
2
). Bus module IBS IP CBK
1/24-F is coupled to the remote bus as a
slave. Further circuitry of the remote bus has
already been described.
The valve terminal reacts on the installation
remote bus like a bus terminal with integrated
I/Os and must be addressed accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE
The valve terminal can not be operated on
the extended installation remote bus
(machine distributor).
The valve terminal must be supplied separ-
ately with 24 V DC operating voltage on the
installation remote bus. The 24 V supply
of the installation remote bus is passed
through the terminal, but is not used.
Separate supply for the valve terminal out-
puts is also possible (e.g. EMERGENCY
OFF circuit).
The installation remote bus is technically
uncoupled from the remote bus e.g. by
means of bus module IBS IP CBK 1/24-F.
The remote bus can therefore be commis-
sioned, even if the slaves on the installation
remote bus are switched off.
