Selecting the field bus cable
PLEASE NOTE
Please observe the cable specifications.
Signal reflections and attenuations occur in
data transmission particularly with high baud
rates. These can both lead to errors in trans-
mission.
The causes of this can be:
•
transmission over long distances
•
unsuitable cables
Remote bus
The following cable type should be used as the
remote bus cable:
LIYCY 3 x 2 x 0.25 mm2, screened.
Alternatively, optical-fibre waveguides can also
be used. Further details on connections and on
the source of supply can be found in the section
"Connecting the cables to the plugs/sockets" and
"INTERBUS interface".
Installation remote bus
The following cable type should be used as the
installation remote bus cable:
LICYC 3 x 3 x 0.25 mm

+ 3 x 1 mm

, screened.
