4.1 VALVE TERMINAL CONFIGURATION AND ADDRESSING
General
Before commissioning or programming, first
compile a configuration list of all connected field
bus slaves. On the basis of this list, you can:
• carry out a comparison between NOMINAL
and ACTUAL configurations in order to
eliminate connection faults
• access these specifications during the syntax
check of a program, in order to avoid
addressing errors.
Configuration of the valve terminal requires a
very accurate procedure, since different configu-
ration specifications are required for each termi-
nal on account of the modular structure. Please
note here the specifications in the sections which
follows.
